Powering Syracuse’s Creekside Landing with Reliable Gas Booster Technology

ETTER Engineering was proud to partner with Stark Tech on an important new affordable housing development in Syracuse, NY. Creekside Landing, part of the Mayor’s Resurgent Neighborhoods Initiative, brings 52 high-quality housing units to the city’s South and Southwest neighborhoods. Sixteen of these units will be reserved for homeless young adults (18–25), supported by Housing Visions’ vital services.

For this project, ETTER provided one of our High Capacity E101P Gas Boosters, outfitted with an Outdoor Transclosure and UPS in a heated enclosure. The result: a fully self-contained gas booster system supporting the site’s Emergency Standby Generator.

Here’s why that matters: if the power goes out or is interrupted for any reason, our system stays online for 10–15 minutes, ensuring the generator gets up and running without interruption. That level of reliability is critical for housing projects where the safety and comfort of residents are top priorities.

This unit was also delivered on an expedited 8-week timeline to meet the project’s needs—demonstrating our commitment to responsiveness and customer success.

The outcome? A smooth startup under full load, and a very happy client. As Kevin from Stark Tech shared:

"The generator ran smoothly under full load, and we had a very happy customer. Gabe (from ETTER) was great to work with and was very helpful throughout the several calls during the startup process."
