CSD-1 Emergency Boiler Stop
The ETTER Engineering SafetyWorx CSD-1 Boiler Emergency Stop Panel is a critical safety solution designed for boiler rooms. This remote-mounted, stainless steel emergency stop relay panel complies with ASME CSD-1-2012 guidelines and is adopted as code in numerous states. It is specifically designed for commercial and industrial boilers with an input of 400,000 BTUH or larger (not applicable to residential boilers). The CSD-1 Emergency Shutdown quickly disconnects power from the burner’s flame safeguard controller (FSG), ensuring an immediate shutdown of the boiler(s) when triggered.
The placement of CSD-1 emergency stations depends on the boiler room layout. Stations should be located near interior doors and easily accessible from exterior doors, enabling quick access during an emergency.
With three distinct models, the CSD-1 can control anywhere from a single boiler to a bank of 12 boilers:
- Model CSD1-014: One to Four Boilers
- Model CSD1-058: Five to Eight Boilers
- Model CSD1-912: Nine to Twelve Boilers
